Roberta’s Fair Shot Journey
Roberta embarked on her journey with the Fair Shot training programme in September 2022, feeling a bit anxious about working in a café and serving customers. However, as she vividly puts it:
Through mastering the art of coffee making and honing her latte art skills, Roberta’s confidence soared, transforming her into a coffee connoisseur. At the register, she learned to engage with customers and take orders with finesse.
The Fair Shot team played a crucial role, providing unwavering support and teaching her how to connect with customers effectively. Roberta deeply appreciates the incredible team at Fair Shot for their dedication to training and supporting the learners.
Following Roberta’s graduation from the programme, she was matched with the fabulous team at the Ivy as a Commis Waiter. In her role she works within the private members club in the 100 year-old restaurant, where she serves its esteemed members. A true testament to Roberta’s dedication and hardwork which shines through in everything she does.
